BE BOLD TODAY
A few weeks ago I spoke at my church back home. I was not so fond of the idea. Why you ask? Because I hate talking in front of people. Once it's over I am always glad I got up and spoke. God does amazing things and I do fine. But before I actually speak, it's the most stressful/scariest thing ever. But sometimes the things that scare us, God will use the most. I'm slowly getting over my fear of speaking in front of people because I know God can and will use it in the future. But I think that's what we do a lot of the time. We say, I'm not ____ so it's not for me. (Feel in the blank). But I believe that if you truly try to find your insecurities and see why it scares you so much you see the amount you believe in yourself and for God to lead you. That doesn't make you a bad person or any less of a follower of Jesus Christ. For example, Moses: he is such a big part in the Word of God and in Gods plan. But even Moses was unsure about going to the Israelites. "“The cry of the Israelites has now come to me; I have also seen how the Egyptians oppress them. So come, I will send you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” - Exodus 3:9-11. Something I need to work on is letting God lead me and fully trusting Him in the past, present, and future. I don't know what each of you are going through but I think each thing can lead back to giving God full control of your life's and trusting Him in that. I hope we all remember this in times of trouble as well as the good times. Thank you for reading this and letting it be a part of your day.
