BE BOLD TODAY
Why hello, I wanted to introduce myself real quick! For those of you who don't already know, my name is Kailyn Bird. I am a wife to my best friend, John Bird, and a mom to my best bud, Paul Bird. Sometimes I end with that, but don't you worry that's not the only things that describe me!

Headache, babies crying, you and your husband had a fight, lack of money.....again, you've eaten bad all day....maybe all week, dishes are everywhere, you have no words for the amount of laundry three people can make, life feels overwhelming, plus you still haven't graduated college. Needless to say i've had a moment like this once or twice.
With a new year starting, everyone starts to think of what they want this next year to look like. We have small goals, for me that looks like not getting annoyed with my son or husband for a week. Let’s call the other, "medium goals". Mine is probably like a lot of others, to live a healthier life style by eating better and working out. Then we have the large goals. These could involve a new job, moving, etc. Either way, goals are a big part of the new year, what will 2018 look like?
Holiday seasons are wonderful, crazy, stressful, and joyful. Kind of like my life. Dusty shelves, dirty dishes, buckets....yes buckets of laundry, dry shampoo for the third day, baby stuck to the hip, burnt chicken, too much pizza, and alot of coffee. Let's just say life can get a little crazy!
From the beginning there was temptation, and with that a choice was made and sin was brought into this world. But with all the sin in the world, God sent His son to die for our sins, so we can be with Him again. What does this look like in today's generation? What does this look like for you? What does this look like for me?
Hello, I wanted to introduce myself for today's post, because lets be honest a lot has happened in my life and I am not the same girl I was a year ago. Also for all you new readers, here's a little bit about me!
Hey everyone! I'm finally back in the blogging world, Paul is 6 weeks old now! A lot has changed in my day to day life since he was born.....obviously. But even more so the way I think about things, and how I make decisions, and let's be honest - my anxiety! I want to share with you what God has been trying to show me, long before Paul came along!
Clean the house, get groceries, workout. Check, check, and check! This is not the to do list I need to get rid of! Growing up I've developed this way about me that I plan ahead and I can't imagine not checking my list of things off to get to the goal I planned for myself.
Ever since we were little parents, teachers, media, and even strangers pushed us to finding our own talents. Growing up that just made me feel like I had no talent. So many people around me could sing, dance, draw, etc. but the truth is I never tried to find my talent because I thought the only talents were those few things.
If you know me you know I research everything until my brain and the people around me can't take it anymore! Special thank you to all the lovely people who put up with my brain weekly, y'all are the real champs.
