BE BOLD TODAY
Sorry it's been awhile, it's been a crazy month. But I felt like I should start blogging again. I was thinking of things Christians are afraid to talk about. Sadly we have many things we are afraid to talk about. The questions are what are they, and why are we afraid to speak about them? I asked a few of my friends the top things Christians won't talk about in their opinion. Some of the responses were:
Honestly, the list can go on for pages and pages. So we as Christians, as well as people in general, keep so many things to ourselves. Why is that? We tell people all the time, "The truth sets you free", "Your past doesn't control you", "Everyone doubts"... etc. But when it comes to our own lives we can't have anything wrong, or at-least no one can see there's something wrong. Why don't we talk about other religions? Maybe because we are afraid of going outside of what we know, or maybe we don't know enough about other religions to talk about them. Our world is starving for a revival. Well guys, a revival will not happen until we are open and honest with the things we are holding in. Now I'm not saying you should just stand up in the middle of the store and yell out your problems. As cool as that might sound, you might end up being kicked out.....But it's about time Christians open up to each other, about things we are struggling with, to not understanding the Bible, or having doubts. We are not meant to walk this world alone, we have God and the brothers and sisters in Christ around us. So how do we start talking about the dark spots in our lives? We pray, seek God, and go to someone in the church. We have to remember what we say to others, we are not alone, we can't keep letting the devil win. Guys, it's time for change..........are you ready?
