BE BOLD TODAY
Being pregnant brings on a lot of emotions, it's such a joyful thing, even on the tough days. I'll be the first to admit me and John, my husband, are crazy for having a baby so soon after marriage. Even though all we could think about from day one is starting a family, reality quickly hit us shortly after finding out we are pregnant. Us? Pregnant?! I would have said you were crazy if you told me I would have been pregnant six months into marriage. But after the shock of being pregnant left, it suddenly hit. The overwhelming joy that we get to be parents. I knew from the start John is going to be the BEST dad to our son, we are having a boy by the way! But for me I have been terrified of being a mom, what I would do, say, how I would go about things, all these questions quickly surrounded my thoughts. If you know me once I get on something I tend to think about it until there's nothing left! But God, friends, and family quickly reminded me of how big a gift being a mom is, and that I WILL mess up, but I will learn, and grow, and I will be the best mom I can be for my son, and for God.
Pregnancy is so fun! You are literally growing another human, it's neat, scary, wild, intense, and exciting! My favorite thing about being pregnant is the movement. Not just the kicks, but when he moves I can sometimes feel his foot, I even think he does flips sometimes but that's just me. Pregnancy is also scary, there's so much I don't know, so many questions i have, when he moves too much or he stops moving for a long period of time it's easy to be scared. But that's another great thing I've learned through being pregnant, God is the only one I want to be in control of Paul's health, and future. I know there will be a lot God will teach me through being a mom, and honestly I can't wait to see all the things He does teach me! But isn't it great how every stage of life God can teach you, guide you, and strengthen you. I am so glad God chose to give this blessing to me and John, and I will keep y'all updated on all the things God shows me over the next few months. I would love to know what God's doing in your life today, email me your stories I can't wait to hear from you!
